Body Break was the brainchild of its hosts, Hal Johnson and Joanne
McLeod. They had an idea to promote simple physical activity that
people could do anytime, especially at the office or with young
kids.
The partnership with ParticipACTION was a successful one, though
it only ran for 3 years before Hal and Joanne decided to pursue
a more commercial venture with the Body Break name.
