Scope and contentThis file contains a presentation by John MIller, Jeannette Assinewai, Marjorie Mishihinijima and Sarah Bondy whose organizations works in the best interests of disabled Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal persons. Both groups deal with "discriminating legislation and policies which limit access to support offered to Aboriginal communities with developmental handicaps." Also discussed are findings from a Round Table on Aboriginal persons with disabilities held in early 1993. A question-and-answer session with the Commissioners follows the presentation.
