Scope and contentThis file contains an individual presentation given by Alvin Manitopyes relating to the protection of Aboriginal sacred sites and the protection of Aboriginal rights to spiritual freedom. Some sites are located off-reserve, and in provincial and federal crown lands. Manitopyes calls for federal legislation to protect sacred sites and for laws similar to the American Indian Religious Freedom Act in the United States.
