Scope and contentThis file contains a presentation by Stuart Myiow Sr. and Stuart Myiow Jr. Myiow Sr. expresses skepticism that this Royal Commission will be able to influence the federal government and feels that if Aboriginals in Canada achieve self-government, it must be done in conjunction with the Great Law of Peace. Myiow Jr. states that it is "the stance of the Five Nations Confederacy to not participate or add credence to the Royal Commission by stating grievances and hope for the Commission to arrive at some conclusion to present to the government." He says the solution to a peaceful world is to return to the world's oldest peace treaty, the Two-Row Wampum. A testy question-and-answer session with the Commissioners follows the presentation.
