Scope and contentFile contains a presentation by President Clem Paul of the Yellowknife Metis Council. Paul discusses problems faced by the Northwest Territories Metis generally, and the Yellowknife Metis specifically. He argues that the government has created problems by funding the Dene organizations but not the Metis councils. Paul also discusses rights issues. Following the presentation the assembled Commissioners discuss some of the issues raised with Paul.
