Scope and contentFile contains presentations by Lorraine Moses, and Chief Gordon Antoine (Coldwater Indian Band), both of the Nicola Valley Indian Development Corporation. Moses presents on a variety of economic issues her organization is concerned with including the tourism industry, financing, education, and related matters. One key point she highlights is the relationship of Aboriginal people with Canada's banks. Following her presentation she discusses these issues with Commissioners Dussault and Chartrand, and Chief Gordon Antoine elaborates with respect to some of the banking issues the corporation (and Aboriginal peoples generally) face.
