Scope and contentFile contains a presentation by Larry Kaida that describes various programs offered by some Canadian universities relating to encouraging and advising Aboriginals upon entrance into university. Kaida is also involved in a program where Aboriginal students have on-the-job training with oil and gas companies in Alberta, with guaranteed employment upon graduation. He calls upon the Commission to ensure that funding continues for these local and national university programs.
