Scope and contentFile contains a presentation by Tom Erasmus who is a community development worker for the Alberta Mental Health Association located in the northeast region of Alberta. He is also a co-ordinator of native services for the northeast region of Alberta. His presentation focuses on "the importance of the development of appropriate resources and partnerships that are needed to be developed between non-native human services and our native communities." Erasmus hopes the Commission can look at recruitment processes for Aboriginals to become involved with mental health agencies so they may take part in the decision-making process. Following the presentation is a question-and-answer session with the Commissioners.
