Scope and content | The Slayamen: visit in October 1901 by LeJeune and other clergy to the "Slayamen Indian Village called Techossem facing Van Anda" (100 miles from Vancouver) to see the new church with decorated "metallic ceiling." At the Sechelt; Canoe Creek - mass and catechism with illustrations of the magic lantern which "attracted so much Indian attention that the meeting would last till 10 and 1030pm." New Chinook Publications; The Late Rev. L.N. St. Onge (he began writing a Chinook Bible History which was then continued by the late Bishop Durieu); Christmas at the Kamloops Indian Reserve; death of "Old Martin" from North Thompson Indian Reserve at about 90 years of age; Quarterly Review in Chinook pages 97 to 101); four photoengravings. | |
