Scope and contentFrom foreword: "This paper will deal with the boat-shaped artifacts and certain other more or less related problematic forms from the Gulf Southwest states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. They have been alluded to... as "prehistoric objects of polished stone having somewhat the shape of a canoe, the use of which is unknown." Included are numerous illustrations of boat-shaped artifacts.
