Historical noteThe Li Collection is comprised of 10 volumes containing stories in Dene collected in northern Alberta in 1928 by linguist Fanggui Li. Recorded in the field, these texts consist of phonetic transcriptions of stories elicited from Francois Mandeville and Baptiste Ferrier, with interlinear English translations.
Scope and contentIncludes stories and interlinear translations of: "The story of bèts ú é yè nèt cà;" "How dà ts á í lived;" and two untitled stories.
