These memoirs include her memories of the Northwest Resistance and the period preceding it. Contains information on Metis scouts (Charlie Ross) surveilling the settlement, White Cap and the Dakota's friendship with the settlers at Saskatoon and reluctance to join the Metis, discussion by settlers of abandoning the settlement for Moose Jaw, the captive Riel's transfer at Saskatoon from the steamer Northcote to wagon, and the care of wounded soldiers in Saskatoon. | |
