- 1909 The Drinkle Building, located on the southwest corner of 21st Street and 2nd Avenue in downtown Saskatoon, was the University of Saskatchewan's original campus in 1909 and 1910. Access to the roof of the Drinkle Building was obtained through a skylight, where students would drop paper bags full of water on the heads of pedestrians. At the time of the University's Golden Jubilee former student William Bell Lindsay even recalled once dropping rotten tomatoes he obtained from Pat the Janitor onto the Police Commissioner. |
