College Building WE-1229_2 In November 1910, David Brown wrote asking for “a photograph, or a good illustration of a gopher. We are anxious to introduce this little animal into some of the decorative features about the College Building.” Although Murray found and sent an image, he noted “The gopher usually stands more erect than the attitude indicated in the picture.”
