| Postcard message | BK of BNA Battleford, Saskatchewan Canada 24/11/09 Have had rather a big move, having had to go as far north as the above address will indicate. I was three full days and nights in the train. I had 'en route' a day in Winnipeg as a break. It is very cold here just now, lots of snow and the thermometer has been as low as 32 below zero. But I do not feel the cold very much, the air is so dry. The population is about 1000. I have seen quite a lot of Canada during the short time I have been here. Excuse a letter this time will write in more detail at a later date. We are rather busy. Should like a card from you. Remembrance from |
| Scope and content | View of street, with various businesses visible, including Burlingham, Speers and Crottie; Harness Maker; and the sender has written "BNK of BNA" above a building in the distance. Also handwritten on the front of the card, "These buildings have lately been absolutely burnt to the ground." |
