| Postcard message | Liverpool June 28th Dear Gertie Here we are anchored in the Mersey River in the "bloomin old country." We didn't manage to see any submarines, so we aren't feeding the fishes. Will write later when we get settled. Lots of girls on the beach opposite Liverpool waiving flags. Wish I was there. Best wishes. Dick |
