| Scope and content | Three-colour postcard showing horses pulling a wagon along the bank of the South Saskatchewan River, probably the Nutana side. The CNR bridge, built in 1905 with concrete piers, spans the river. This bridge was rebuilt several times. Canadian Northern Railway was absorbed by Canadian National in 1923. Typescript on back says 1916, but message says "September 4, 1914". Title and information from Local History Room catalog. Postcard damaged on right side. | |
