Postcard messageDear Mother I do hope you have not worried because I have been so long writing. I have left the lumber camp i was in I was sorry because I liked the life. They kept us till most fo the roads were cut. Then a lot of Old hands came in and of course we greenhorns had to quit. We were there nearly a month. There are hundreds of men in P. Albert so chances of getting work here seem small. Don't worry I have plenty of money to keep me till spring. If I can't get work here I will go to Saskatoon again and see if I can't make something out of my wood carving. I have still got my tools. I would go and spend them on my homestead only if it is too late to put up a sod shack as the ground is from What a bonny baby. I recieved the photo yesterday I suppose Jim took it. Had a letter from Nell. I am sorry you did not go with them for a holiday. it would have done you
