Curator's note | This poster advertised a protest at the Saskatoon Star Phoenix office over the newspaper's decision to print the illustrated advertisement in its June 30 1997 issue. The ad provoked many complaints to the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission and a response from the StarPhoenix publisher that in light of "feedback from the community" it would not accept similar ads in the future. |
