Curator's note | One of the chief goals of the United Farmers of Canada after its founding in 1926 was to establish a program of 100 Per Cent Control or 100 Per Cent Pool by which one official agency would market all grain. This pamphlet presents arguments for 100 Percent Control and rebuts the chief arguments against. It ends with a swipe at grain speculators - "If you vote YES for 100 Per Cent Control you make these gamblers pay. If you vote NO you make them smile." |
