Curator's noteThis American land company brochure asks - "Do you want to slave all your life or does complete independence in ten years sound better?" The Godart Land Company, based in St. Paul, Minnesota, organized tours for potential buyers of its land in west central Saskatchewan, which it "confidently and sincerely" believed would have double the present valuation by 1916.
