Curator's note | "A quart a day keeps the doctor away." This pamphlet was used in a 1946 campaign to resist the ending of the milk subsidies that had been established during World War II. The pamphlet argues that the move would be a blow to national standards of health and that it was in the interest of consumers, producers, and all citizens to retain subsidies as part of post-war price controls. |
