Minutes of the 5 April 1909 meeting. Among other issues, a visit to Fort Qu'Appelle, Indian Head, and Regina as possible sites; location of the College of Agriculture; potential opening of the College of Arts and Science in September 1909; the appointment of G.H. Ling, R.J. Bateman, W.J. Rutherford,and John Bracken; printing the calendar; that the University would expect to provide the following Colleges and departments: Arts and Science with music, art and commerce; Agriculture with forestry and domestic science; Education; Engineering; Law; Medicine with pharmacy; Dentistry; Veterinary Science; and that all colleges "be placed in the same locality;" scholarships; Saskatoon was chosen as the site; statutes of the Senate; and an Executive of the Board were discussed. |
