Curator's note | Rawleigh men were travelling salesmen attached to the W. T. Rawleigh Company. The company manufactured, packaged and sold door to door a wide variety of household products, including medicinal and nutritional treatments, cleaners, brushes, and spices. The salesmen took their sample cases to farms and small town homes, soliciting orders. The company boasted of the superior quality of their products and the personal services they provided. |
