SAIN / MAIN

The Saskatchewan/Manitoba Archival Information Network (SAIN/MAIN) is a database of descriptions of archival material held in Saskatchewan and Manitoba archives.

It is a work in progress, with new descriptions being added regularly. For further information about the material described in this database, contact the relevant archives (contact information is linked from each description).

The provincial networks may also be accessed invidividually:

See also Canadian Archival Resources on the Internet.

SAIN/MAIN is the Saskatchewan/Manitoba component of Archives Canada: the Canadian Archival Information Network.

Site created by the Saskatchewan Council for Archives and Archivists, Association for Manitoba Archives, and Information Technology Services division, University of Saskatchewan Libraries, with logo designed by Mona Holmlund. This project has been made possible by financial assistance from the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Regina, and from the federal government through the Department of Canadian Heritage, the National Archives of Canada and the Canadian Council of Archives. Content provided by individual institutions, the Saskatchewan Council for Archives and Archivists, and the Association for Manitoba Archives. Comments to Tim Hutchinson are welcome. Questions about archival holdings should be directed to the relevant archives (note that only a small proportion of the archival holdings in Saskatchewan and Manitoba is currently represented here).
